Robert was born and raised along the very same Brooklyn Roads as Neil Diamond himself. From an early age, he showed a natural gift for performance—taking the stage in lead and character roles in classic productions like Grease, Oklahoma!, The Music Man, Guys & Dolls, Bye Bye Birdie, and Annie. He even portrayed legendary boxer Ray "Boom Boom" Mancini in the stage drama Throwdown.

While Robert's love for performing was always evident, it was the 1980 remake of The Jazz Singer, starring Neil Diamond, that truly lit a fire in him. Captivated by Neil’s powerful voice and charisma, Robert memorized the entire film and would often act out scenes for friends and family on request. That deep admiration for Neil’s music stayed with him for decades.

After relocating to Florida in 1989, Robert stepped away from the stage to pursue a distinguished 30+ year career in investigation and VIP protection—devoting himself to helping and protecting others.

But in 2020, during the global pandemic, Robert rediscovered his passion for music through a global singing app, where he began recording Neil Diamond songs just for fun. The response was overwhelming. Listeners from around the world praised the uncanny resemblance of Robert’s voice and style to that of Neil Diamond himself. What started as a creative outlet soon became a calling.

A turning point came when Robert was invited to perform alongside acclaimed Barbra Streisand tribute artist Diane Lynn at the Palace Theater in Kings Point.
